SF-600 is the Professional's Standard Flowbench
A "workhorse" flowbench for testing engines up to 180 horsepower (135 kW) per cylinder

Flowbench

The world's most popular flowbench for professional engine builders, the SF-600's superior range and accuracy allow you to test any cylinder head, intake manifold, throttle body, air cleaner, or muffler as assemblies or separate units.
  • Flow direction: Use simple levers to select intake or exhaust flow direction at test pressures from 0 to 48" (0-120 cm) of water and airflow rates from 0 to 600 cfm (0-280 l/s).

  • Test pressure: Most testing with the SF-600 is performed at 25" (60 cm) of water test pressure. For smaller valves, the test pressure can be increased to 48" (120 cm) of water. The SF-600 provides fast, accurate, repeatable results at any test pressure between 5" (13 cm) and 48" (120 cm) of water. An option is available to add a second 48" (120 cm) manometer for port mapping or auxiliary uses.

  • Flow measurement: The flow meter can be used in six flow ranges to fit the valve size or valve lift. In each range, the flow can be read within 0.1% of scale. The six flow ranges increase the resolution of flow measurement as compared to a single-range system. Changes of 0.5% are readily detectable.

  • Calibration: Your flowbench is tested before it leaves SuperFlow and ships with its own calibration sheet to ensure the accuracy of your tests. The included standard test orifice system verifies the calibration of the flowbench now or at any point in the future.

Flow Computer

SuperFlow's optional FlowCom™ flow computer is an accurate, easy-to-use digital airflow measurement system that uses flowbench pressure and temperature measurements to show calculated and corrected flow in real time on its precision display.

  • Test Pressure: When equipped with the optional motor controller, FlowCom automatically regulates the test pressure while running flow tests based on your keypad input. You only adjust the valve and record the flow reading at each point.

  • Port Flow Analyzer™: FlowCom can automatically send all flow data through its serial port to a computer with optional Port Flow Analyzer software. You can use Port Flow Analyzer to view flow data graphically; record, store and print data; and retrieve old tests to overlay and compare with current ones.

Features

Bidirectional flow for intake and exhaust tests

Flows a maximum of 600 cfm (280 l/s)

Second 48" (120 cm) manometer (optional) allows you to perform carburetor-signal or velocity-probe tests

Proven design for years of trouble-free testing

Available with FlowCom™ flow computer for faster, easier, more accurate tests
  • With digital readouts for corrected flow, test pressure, velocity probe, and swirl meter in English or metric units

  • Automatically regulates test pressure with optional motor controller

  • Outputs to optional Port Flow Analyzer™ flowbench software through a serial connection to your computer

Used by more professionals than all other flowbenches combined
