Kennys' 'Busa makes 541 hp on SuperFlow's CycleDyn to Win the WyoTech Brute Horsepower Shootout!
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - March 14, 2007 - SuperFlow Technologies Group and WyoTech are pleased to announce the overall winner of the 2007 Brute Horsepower Shootout is Robert Kenny and his turbocharged 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa. Kenny made 541 wheel horsepower on SuperFlow's SF-250 CycleDyn. Barbara Cabral's Harley-Davidson FXR made 196 horsepower to win the Unlimited V-Twin class.
"I really want to give credit to Richards Custom Cycle in Ontario Canada. Without them I wouldn't be here. Check them out at rccturbos.com." Says Canadian Robert Kenny.
"Kenny made 23 more horsepower than last year's overall winner Mario Plante. It turns out, he and Mario are friends. I wonder if someone will unseat them next year." Says SuperFlow's Bret Williamson said. "The CycleDyn performed flawlessly again this year. We even wrote a special test for Barry Henson, one of the unlimited competitors. We added load to make sure his turbo spooled up properly during his run. The dyno was holding back well over 400 horsepower from Barry's Velocity Racing engine when the head gasket blew. Dyno 1, 'Busa 0."
The Brute Horsepower Shootout is held every year during Daytona Bike Week on WyoTech's Daytona Beach campus. Learn more about WyoTech at www.wyotech.com.
