SuperFlow Unveils New 107 Torque Converter Balancer
|
SuperFlow Technologies Group has unveiled it's new, improved TCRS torque converter balancing system that features automatic weight indexing, a sophisticated run out compensation mode, optional hub polishing, and higher accuracy and repeatability than previous TCRS designs.
The TCRS A-107 Torque Converter Balancer is extremely accurate, user friendly and reliable. In fact, without any bolting required, an operator, using either touch screen or key pad controls, can balance a torque converter in as little as five seconds. The Balancer accommodates virtually all known torque converter models and sizes: foreign, domestic, high performance. Standard domestic tooling (approximately 80 pieces for Ford, GM and Daimler-Chrysler) is included with the package. With custom mounts, it can handle several other industrial-type applications: flywheels, clutches, etc.
The A-107 Balancer pinpoints the amount of weight placement required in grams or ounces (within 1/10th of a gram). Its new electronics are isolated from outside interference, therefore, weights can be welded to the torque converter while on the Balancer. Its exclusive proprietary electronics allow the Balancer to compensate for misalignment in pilot tooling, internal imbalance, and internal rotating components.
This single-plane, vertical-axis balance tool uses a variable frequency drive motor to spin the torque converter. Maximum spindle torque is 263 in-lbs. Maximum test weight capacity is 175 pounds.
Measured Resolution: .001 lbs (Roughly equivalent to .04 gram at the surface of a typical domestic, automotive torque converter.)
