The AxiLine Inhibitor Switch Tester provides a quick and easy method of testing a wide range of automobile inhibitor switches, both digital and resistive. The test can be accomplished with an in-vehicle or bench test to identify potential shift-related problems.
A range of dedicated looms is available to allow simple plug-in connection to the most common types. Use of these will minimize the risk of incorrect connection. With these looms, it is simply a matter of removing the existing connector and plugging in the tester loom.
The inhibitor switch tester can monitor up to 12 separate switches plus a single switched resistor assembly. The inhibitor switch tester has a digital meter for accuracy resistance readings and an LED for each switch under test. The high accuracy 4digit meter is capable of measuring up to 19.999K½ (19,999 ohms) and the resistance value is displayed in ohms. Note: 1K½ = 1,000 ohms.
