How Does the 3-in-1 Solenoid Tester Work?
The Schaffer 3-in-1 offers adapters called manifolds (pictured above) for nearly every transmission solenoid on the market today. And as new transmissions appear, we'll be right there with manifolds designed especially for them.

The 3-in-1 solenoid tester kit (MST-K) comes with the seven most popular manifolds on the market today. Others are available separately, at very reasonable prices.
Of course, not everyone has the same requirements for compatibility. Check the list of manifolds that comes with the kit before you purchase your tester kit: If you see a manifold or two that you can't use, we'll be happy to exchange it for another comparably-priced manifold, at no extra charge.
The Schaffer 3-in-1 provides every variation of voltage signal necessary for testing every type of solenoid on the market. It develops constant voltage- at limited amerage - for typical on/off solenoids, and dual frequency and duty cycle control signals for checking pressure control solenoids, force motor solenoids, and slower, "modulated" solenoids.
