The Schaffer® Breakout Box works with the same harness adapters as the Schaffer® Shifter, so there are no extra connectors or harnesses to buy. Just switch the wiring over from your Schaffer Shifter to your breakout box, and you're ready to start testing, using your own meter.
The Schaffer® Breakout Box comes with a special manual, that identifies each terminal on the box. In seconds, you're testing solenoids, force motors, temperature sensors, virtually all of the electrical components in the transmissions.
And not just resistance tests: The Schaffer® Breakout Box also provides a power input. Just plug in your power cord from the Schaffer® Shifter, and you're testing amperage draw. Most electrical experts agree that the best way to test electrical components is amperage.
