The most economical benches for testing engines up to 100 Hp (75 kW) per cylinder

The SF-110 and SF-120 are the most economical and popular benches for testing engines up to 100 Hp (75 kW) per cylinder.
  • Bidirectional flow for intake and exhaust tests.
  • Flows a maximum of 185 cfm (87 l/s)
  • Easy to operate
  • Proven design for years of trouble-free testing
  • Available with FlowCom™ flow computer for faster, easier, more accurate tests. With digital readouts for corrected flow, test pressure, velocity probe, and swirl meter in English or Metric units. Automatically regulates test pressure with optional motor controller. Outputs to optional Port Flow Analyzer™ flowbench software via serial connection to your PC.

What is the difference between an SF-110 and an SF-120?
The SF-110 has been the basic model for a number of years. The only difference between a 110 and a 120 is the addition of high-pressure motors on the intake side of the SF-110 bench to create the SF-120. This produces about 30% more intake (sucking) flow capacity. For example, heads that you could test at 10 inches (25 cm) with an SF-110, you could test at 15 inches (38 cm) with an SF-120. The drawback is that you have more power going into it, so there is a greater temperature rise. The SF-120 also can't be run as long at very low lifts, unless used with a FlowCom to reduce the motor speed. It heats up quicker, part of the price you pay for the extra power.
