Mechanical Repair Technician

SuperFlow has a challenging job for an electro-mechanical repair technician with an interest in the world of racing. You will disassemble, evaluate, repair & test electrical and mechanical components for users of our computerized engine and vehicle test systems (PCBA's, cables, other electrical components, servo valves, water brakes). Requires associates degree or equivalent successful and verifiable experience. You need good troubleshooting skills and familiarity with engines and mechanical systems. Technical skills test required.

Your job will be to design dynamometers, instrumentation, and flow measurement equipment for the world's top race teams and vehicle manufacturers. The required skills are: The ability to spot a need and to develop a solution. A strong sense of aesthetic design and user ergonomics. Good CAD skills in 2D and 3D design, including finished part drawings. Working knowledge of strength of materials and material applications. Working knowledge of common fabrication techniques, willingness to take responsibility for the successful completion of a project. Knowledge of race engines is a plus. Knowledge of flow mechanics is a plus. Technical Skills test required. Must be able to work independently.

SuperFlow is currently seeking a mechanical drafter to support the engineering department in Colorado Springs, CO.
The ideal candidate needs to be detail oriented and familiar with modern drafting practices using Autodesk Inventor. The individual should be familiar with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal cutting and forming, machining, welding, and casting.
Knowledge of tolerance stack-ups as well as familiarity with the basic concepts of design for assembly and design for manufacturing is a plus.
The primary duties for this position are to create 3D CAD models and generate detailed part drawings for new designs as well as revise existing models and drawings as necessary.
