Long Arms

The Schaffer® Long Arms universal breakout box and logic probe are designed to make electrical testing easy. Auto repair is never convenient, and sometimes you find yourself having to run from one end of the car to the other to reach the right connectors or wiring. If you're driving down the road at the time, it's not only difficult—it can be downright dangerous! But now you can reach nearly anywhere on the car without ever leaving the driver's seat.

To perform electrical tests on components from one corner of the vehicle to the other, simply connect the special clips to the wires you need to test, and perform your checks from the main terminals on the box. Then turn the dial to switch from one circuit to the next. Now you can check wheel speed frequencies from each wheel while driving down the road, without ever leaving the front seat. But the Schaffer Long Arms isn't just a breakout box—its specially designed logic probe circuitry allows you to check any circuit for voltage, down to 0.05 volts.

The Schaffer Long Arms include our special piercing probes, so connection is a snap. Just clamp the wire and you're ready to go. The Long Arms come equipped with the special TC-2 bed-of-nails alligator clips so you can connect the terminals normally or use one of the piercing probes to pierce through the insulation and get right to the wire. It also comes with two color-coded patch cords, a ground lead, instruction booklet, and a padded plastic case.
